Learn How Y-Pipe Hanger Brackets Are Installed For Peterbilt 378 & 379 Long Drop Elbows
Get a sneak peek inside the Chrome Shop Mafia Workshop! Watch Tech Michael Forst, as he installs a stainless-steel Y-Pipe hanger bracket to mount a long drop exhaust elbow. He gives a quick how-to on installing, along with some great advice. The hangers are a great fit for both 378 and 379 Peterbilt trucks.
For installation, you will need the Y-pipe hanger bracket and also an exhaust clamp with the straight Peterbilt hanger on it. The clamp goes at the joint of your Y-pipe and elbow. It mounts on an existing hole in the bottom of the cab structure.
These Y-pipe hanger brackets come in the Vendetta Exhaust kits and are also sold separately. The brackets are available in stainless and black powder-coated steel.
