9. Reinstall brackets/hold-downs tightly. Prevent vibration damage.
10. Reconnect positive first, negative last. Torque to ~10–15 ft-lb.
11. Coat outside of terminals with dielectric grease.
12. Start engine, check alternator charge (~13.5–14.5 V running).
