International PayStar 5000 Floor Mats
Frequently Asked Questions About International PayStar 5000 Floor Mats
Will these floor mats fit my specific PayStar 5000 model year?
Our PayStar 5000 floor mats are designed to fit models from 2007-2017. However, there are slight variations between manual and automatic transmission models. Manual transmission trucks have a different pedal configuration that requires a narrower driver's side mat. When ordering, make sure to select the correct transmission type to ensure proper fitment around the clutch pedal area.
What material options are available and which holds up best in construction/heavy-duty environments?
We offer three material options: rubber, vinyl, and carpet. For construction and severe-duty applications, heavy-duty rubber mats are the most popular choice. They're chemical-resistant, easy to hose off, and feature deep channels that trap mud, gravel, and water. The rubber mats are 3/8" thick and won't crack in extreme cold or become slippery when wet. Vinyl is a good mid-range option, while carpet is typically chosen for highway trucks or show vehicles.
Do I need to remove the factory mat clips, and will these mats stay in place during daily use?
Yes, you'll need to remove the factory mat clips before installation. Our mats come with heavy-duty replacement clips that install in the same locations. The driver's side mat features anti-slip backing and two anchor points to prevent dangerous mat migration toward the pedals. Many drivers report the mats staying secure even after months of climbing in and out of the cab multiple times per day.
Can these mats be trimmed to fit around aftermarket accessories like CB radio mounts or custom center consoles?
Yes, all our PayStar 5000 floor mat materials can be trimmed with a sharp utility knife. The rubber and vinyl mats are especially easy to customize. We recommend creating a cardboard template first to ensure accurate cuts. Many customers have successfully trimmed around floor-mounted gear shifters, aftermarket seat bases, and auxiliary equipment mounts without compromising the mat's integrity.
How do these compare to WeatherTech or Husky Liner mats in terms of coverage and quality?
Our PayStar 5000 mats provide comparable coverage to premium brands at a more competitive price point. They extend up the firewall approximately 6-8 inches and feature raised edges around the perimeter. While WeatherTech uses a proprietary thermoplastic material, our heavy-duty rubber mats are made from similar commercial-grade compounds that many drivers find equally durable. The main difference is our mats are specifically designed for the PayStar's unique cab dimensions rather than being adapted from a universal commercial truck pattern.
