Your fuel gauge shows you exactly how much gas is in your tank using simple markings from E (empty) to F (full), with helpful markers at 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2 along the way. It's an analog gauge - think old-school needle display - that works with a special sensor measuring between 240-33 ohms. This particular model is made for vehicles with positive ground electrical systems, which isn't super common but is important to know when installing.
