Peterbilt 352 Dash Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About Peterbilt 352 Dash Accessories

What model years are these dash accessories compatible with?

Our Peterbilt 352 dash accessories are designed to fit 1978-1987 Peterbilt 352 models. However, some accessories may also work with late 1970s Peterbilt 359 models due to similar dash configurations. We recommend checking the specific product description or contacting our support team with your OEM to confirm exact fitment for your truck.

Are these dash accessories made from original OEM materials or aftermarket?

We carry both OEM replacement parts and high-quality aftermarket alternatives. Our aftermarket dash accessories are typically made from ABS plastic or chrome-plated steel, matching or exceeding original specifications. Each product listing clearly indicates whether it's OEM or aftermarket, along with material specifications to help you make the best choice for your restoration or upgrade project.

How difficult is it to install dash gauges and switches without removing the entire dashboard?

Most gauge and switch installations can be completed without full dash removal. Single gauge replacements typically require 30-45 minutes and basic hand tools. You'll need to disconnect the battery, remove the gauge bezel, disconnect wiring harnesses, and carefully work behind the dash panel. For multiple gauge installations or complete dash refurbishments, we recommend allowing 3-4 hours and having a second person assist with wire routing.

What's the difference between chrome, brushed aluminum, and painted dash bezels?

Chrome bezels offer maximum shine and durability but show fingerprints easily and cost more. Brushed aluminum provides a modern, subtle appearance that hides minor scratches and fingerprints while complementing both vintage and updated interiors. Painted bezels match original factory colors and are the most budget-friendly option, though they may require occasional touch-ups. All three options use the same mounting points and dimensions.

Do your dash accessories come with installation hardware and wiring connectors?

Installation hardware inclusion varies by product. Gauge bezels and trim pieces typically include mounting screws and clips. Electrical components like switches and gauges usually come with basic connectors, but you may need additional pigtails or adapters for older wiring harnesses. Each product description lists exactly what's included. We also offer complete installation kits separately that include all necessary hardware, connectors, and detailed instructions specific to Peterbilt 352 applications.
