International 9900/i/ix Dash Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About International 9900/i/ix Dash Acc.

What kinds of products are included in this category?

This category covers dash accessories for the International 9900, 9900i, and 9900ix models, including items such as dash trim panels, switch and gauge bezels, dash covers, cupholder inserts, and other interior dash trim components designed to fit the factory dash layout of these trucks.

Will these dash accessories fit my specific truck model and year?

Most parts in this category are designed to fit the International 9900, 9900i, and 9900ix series, but dash layouts can vary slightly by production year and cab configuration. Always check the fitment notes listed on each product page, and compare part dimensions or mounting points to your existing dash before ordering. If you are unsure, contact our parts specialists with your VIN or truck details for confirmation.

What materials and finishes are available for these dash parts?

Dash accessories in this category are typically offered in materials such as ABS plastic, stainless steel, or chrome-plated components, depending on the specific part. Finish options often include chrome, brushed stainless, and painted or textured surfaces to match or accent factory interiors. Product listings specify the exact material and finish for each item.

Do I need any special tools or professional help to install these parts?

Many dash accessories, such as covers, bezels, and trim pieces, are designed for straightforward installation using basic hand tools and existing mounting points or adhesive backing. Some components, like switch panels or gauge surrounds, may require removing existing trim or connecting to factory wiring, so review the product description and any included instructions before starting. If a part involves electrical connections, we recommend having a qualified technician assist with installation.

How do I clean and maintain chrome or plastic dash accessories?

Chrome-finished parts can be cleaned with a non-abrasive chrome cleaner and a soft cloth to avoid scratching the surface, while plastic or painted trim pieces are best maintained with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh solvents or abrasive pads on any finish, as they can dull chrome plating or damage painted and textured surfaces over time.
