International 9900/i/ix AC Vents

Frequently Asked Questions About International 9900/i/ix AC Vents

Will these AC vents fit my International 9900, 9900i, or 9900ix without modification?

These vents are designed to match the dash configuration used on the International 9900, 9900i, and 9900ix models. Because dash trim and interior layouts can vary slightly by model year and cab configuration, it's a good idea to compare the mounting style and dimensions of the vent you're replacing before ordering to confirm a proper fit.

What materials are these vents made from, and how durable are they?

AC vents in this category are typically made from durable automotive-grade plastic designed to withstand daily cab temperature changes and regular airflow adjustment. They're built to hold up to the wear of daily use, including repeated opening, closing, and directional adjustments of the vent louvers.

Are these vents original equipment (OE) parts or aftermarket replacements?

Depending on the specific listing, these vents may be OE, OE-surplus, or quality aftermarket replacements manufactured to match the original fit and function. Check the individual product description for details on the manufacturer and part origin before purchasing.

How difficult is it to install a replacement AC vent?

Most AC vents in this category are designed as direct replacements for the factory unit, so installation generally involves removing the old vent from the dash panel and snapping or securing the new one into place. No special tools are typically required, though you should have basic trim removal tools on hand to avoid damaging surrounding dash panels.

What color and finish options are available to match my dash?

Vents are commonly available in colors that match standard International interior trim, such as gray or tan, to blend in with the factory dash. If you need an exact match for your cab's interior color, check the product listing closely or contact us to confirm the available finish before ordering.
