Ford Aeromax Truck Front Fenders & Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About Ford Aeromax Truck Front Fenders & Acc.

Will these front fenders fit my specific Ford Aeromax model year?

Ford Aeromax fenders were produced across several production years, and small differences in mounting points and contours can exist between them. Always check the fitment notes listed on each product page and compare them to your truck's year and cab configuration before ordering. If you are unsure, contact our team with your VIN or model year so we can confirm compatibility before you purchase.

What materials are these fenders made from, and how do they hold up over time?

Fenders in this category are typically offered in fiberglass or steel, each with different strengths. Fiberglass fenders resist rust and are lighter to handle, but can crack under heavy impact. Steel fenders are more impact resistant but are heavier and can rust if the finish is damaged. Review the material listed on each product page to choose the option that best matches how the truck is used.

Do these fenders come pre-painted, primed, or unfinished?

Finish options vary by product. Some fenders arrive primed and ready for paint, while others may be gel-coated or unfinished. Check the product description for the exact finish so you can plan for painting or additional prep work before installation.

What tools and steps are involved in installing a replacement fender?

Most Aeromax fender installations involve removing the damaged fender, transferring or replacing mounting brackets and hardware, and bolting the new fender into place using basic hand tools. Depending on the part, you may also need to align the fender with the hood and cab panels for proper fit. We recommend having a second person assist with holding the fender in place during installation, and referring to a service manual for your specific model if one is available.

Are mounting brackets, hardware, and other accessories included with the fender?

This depends on the specific listing. Some fenders are sold as a standalone panel, while others include brackets, braces, or hardware kits. Check the product description and included components list on each page before ordering, and let us know if you need help identifying which additional accessories your installation will require.
