Semi-Truck Mattress Sizes: Fitment Chart & Buying Guide
Looking for the right sized semi truck mattress?
Every long-haul trucker should prioritize spending a sizeable portion of their budget on a quality mattress and driver's seat.

That's where you spend the majority of your time. So, the right size and material quality matters.
Here's a quick fitment guide breakdown.
Common Semi Truck Mattress Sizes

32" x 79" – Narrow Sleeper Mattresses: A space-saving option for compact sleeper berths and select upper bunks. Provides less room to move around while sleeping.
36" x 76" – Shorter Sleeper Mattresses: Offers four inches more width than a 32-inch mattress, with a shorter length suited to sleeper cabs with limited front-to-back space.
36" x 80" – Standard Sleeper Mattresses: A common replacement size offering 80 inches of length for taller drivers without taking up as much cabin space as wider mattresses.
38" x 80" – Wide Sleeper Mattresses: Provides extra shoulder and hip room. Found in select Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, and Volvo sleeper configurations.
42" x 80" – Extra-Wide Sleeper Mattresses: Offers six inches more width than a 36-inch mattress. Suited to larger sleeper berths, including select Peterbilt Unibilt, Kenworth Studio Sleeper, and Freightliner configurations.
Mattress Thickness

Matress thickness or height options range from 4 to 12-inches.
There are 12-inch thick mattresses that offer more absorption for heavier drivers, and thinner 6-inch thick gel-foam mattresses for more headroom and situp space, but with less travel room for heavy-set drivers.
