Frequently Asked Questions About Peterbilt 567/579 Floor Acc.

What is included in the Peterbilt 567/579 Floor Acc. category?

This category covers floor accessories designed specifically for the interior cab floor of Peterbilt 567 and 579 model trucks. This includes items such as floor mats, floor covers, shifter boots, and floor trim pieces that fit the contours of these specific cab layouts.

Will these floor accessories fit both the 567 and 579 models without modification?

Most products listed in this category are designed to fit both the 567 and 579 cab floor layouts, since these models share a similar interior footprint. That said, always check the product description and listed fitment details before ordering, as some items may be specific to one model, cab configuration, or transmission type (manual vs. automatic shifter openings).

What materials are these floor accessories made from, and how durable are they?

Floor accessories in this category are typically made from heavy-duty rubber, vinyl, or molded composite materials chosen for durability in a working truck environment. These materials are built to handle regular foot traffic, dirt, moisture, and temperature changes without cracking or excessive wear over time.

How do I clean and maintain my floor mats or covers?

Most rubber and vinyl floor accessories can be cleaned by removing them from the cab and rinsing with water, then scrubbing with a mild soap solution to remove built-up dirt or grime. Allow the piece to dry fully before reinstalling to prevent moisture from getting trapped underneath and affecting the cab floor.

Are these floor accessories easy to install myself?

Yes, most floor mats and covers in this category are designed as direct-fit, drop-in replacements that do not require tools or permanent mounting. Some trim pieces or shifter boots may require simple fasteners or clips, so it is a good idea to review the installation notes on each product page before you begin.
