Peterbilt 389 Glider Floor Covers & Mats

Refresh Your Peterbilt 389 Interior Floor With Better Fit, Better Coverage, and Easier Cleanup

A worn cab floor makes the whole truck feel tired. Dirt grinds into seams. Salt stains the surface. Old mats slide forward and bunch up. Fix it with the right Peterbilt 389 floor mats, a full Peterbilt 389 carpet kit, or Peterbilt 389 vinyl replacement flooring kits that give you a clean, durable surface again. Start with the upgrade level that matches your cab. Add protective coverage on top if your floor is still solid. Switch to molded carpet if you want comfort and a factory-clean look. Replace the entire surface with vinyl if you want fast wipe-down maintenance and a sharper custom style.

Get a Layout That Matches Your Pedals, Seats, and Shifter Area

Fit comes first. When the mat or flooring matches your cab layout, it lays flat and stays out of the pedal area. That means less bunching, fewer curled edges, and a cleaner look around the driver footwell. If you're running different seat bases or interior add-ons, choose a fit that clears those mounting points. A precise cut saves you from trimming and helps the floor look finished after install.

Upgrade Daily Protection With Floor Mats and Deep-Edge Liners

For everyday mess, Peterbilt 389 floor mats give you quick protection where you step the most. If you deal with wet boots, snow, or jobsite grit, step into deeper coverage with all-weather floor liners that trap spills and debris. Raised edges keep liquid from running under the mat and soaking into the floor pan. Want your mats to stay put? Add securement hardware so the mat doesn't creep forward over time. you'll keep better footing and a safer pedal area.

Bring Back a Factory-Clean Feel With Molded Carpet

A Peterbilt 389 carpet kit is the comfort option. Molded carpet follows the floor contours better than flat carpet, so it looks cleaner and fits tighter around the edges. It also helps cut down on cab echo and makes the interior feel warmer and more finished. If you spend real time in the bunk, match the front with sleeper coverage for a consistent look from the seats back.

Go Low-Maintenance With Vinyl Replacement Flooring

If you want the easiest cleanup, choose Peterbilt 389 vinyl replacement flooring kits. Vinyl wipes down fast, resists stains, and holds up well to heavy use. It's a solid move for trucks that see messy conditions and frequent in-and-out. For an even better result, install a sound and heat barrier underneath. It can reduce road noise and help keep the cab more comfortable year-round.

Make the Cab Quieter and Cooler With Under-Floor Insulation

If the floor feels hot near the firewall or the cab sounds loud at speed, add underlayment before you button everything up. Sound deadening and thermal barrier layers help reduce vibration, cut road noise, and block radiant heat. It's one of the fastest ways to make a 389 feel tighter after a flooring refresh.

Frequently Asked Questions About Peterbilt 389 Glider Floor Covers & Mats

Will these floor mats fit my Peterbilt 389 Glider without modification?

Floor covers and mats in this category are designed to match the floorboard layout of the Peterbilt 389 Glider, including the contours around the pedals, doghouse, and sleeper transition. Because glider kits can vary slightly depending on the builder and cab configuration, we recommend double-checking your floorboard dimensions and pedal placement against the product listing before ordering to ensure a proper fit.

What materials are these floor covers made from, and how do they hold up over time?

Most floor covers and mats for this application are constructed from heavy-duty rubber or vinyl designed to withstand daily wear, moisture, and temperature changes inside the cab. These materials are chosen for their durability and resistance to cracking or fading, making them a practical choice for both daily drivers and show trucks.
