Peterbilt 367 Switch Trim & ID Labels

Frequently Asked Questions About Peterbilt 367 Switch Trim & ID Labels

What exactly are switch trim and ID labels used for?

Switch trim pieces are the decorative and functional bezels or plates that surround the switches on your Peterbilt 367 dash, door panels, and console. ID labels are the small printed or embossed tags that identify what each switch controls, such as headlights, marker lights, or wipers. Together they help keep your cab looking clean and factory-correct while making it easy to identify controls at a glance.

Will these switch trim pieces and labels fit my specific Peterbilt 367 model year?

Most switch trim and ID labels are designed to match the factory dash and switch layout used across Peterbilt 367 production years, but small changes in dash configuration or switch panel design can occur between build years. We recommend comparing the switch panel layout in the product photos to your truck, or checking your dash configuration against the part description before ordering to make sure it lines up correctly.

Are these OEM parts, aftermarket replacements, or both?

Our selection includes both OEM Peterbilt replacement parts and quality aftermarket alternatives. OEM parts are built to match the original fit, finish, and labeling exactly, while aftermarket options can offer a similar look at a different price point. Each product listing specifies whether the item is OEM or aftermarket so you know exactly what you are getting.

How do I install switch trim and ID labels, and do I need special tools?

Installation is generally straightforward and can typically be done with basic hand tools like a small trim panel tool or flathead screwdriver to gently release the trim from the dash. ID labels are usually adhesive-backed and simply peel and stick into place once the surface is clean and dry. If a specific piece requires removing switches or additional panels, that information will be noted in the product description.

What materials and finishes are available for switch trim pieces?

Switch trim is commonly offered in finishes like chrome, matte black, and woodgrain to match the interior trim options originally available on the Peterbilt 367. Materials vary by product and may include durable plastics or plated metal components designed to hold up to daily cab use. Check the specific listing for finish and material details so it matches the rest of your interior.
