Kenworth W900B/W900L Upholstery

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth W900B/W900L Upholstery

Will this upholstery fit my Kenworth W900B or W900L without modification?

Products in this category are designed to match the seat and interior panel dimensions of the W900B and W900L models. However, because these trucks were built over many years and configurations can vary, it's a good idea to check seat make, model year, and any prior interior modifications before ordering. If you're unsure, reach out to our team with your truck's details so we can confirm fit.

What materials are available, and how do they hold up over time?

You'll typically find options such as vinyl, cloth, and leather-style materials in various colors and patterns to match factory or custom interiors. Vinyl and leather-style materials tend to be easier to clean and more resistant to daily wear, while cloth options often provide a softer feel. Durability will depend on usage conditions, so consider how the truck is used day to day when choosing a material.

Can I install this upholstery myself, or do I need a professional?

Many customers with basic upholstery or mechanical experience are able to install seat covers and panels themselves using common hand tools. That said, more involved jobs, like replacing full seat foam or covering complex panel shapes, may go smoother with the help of an experienced upholstery shop, especially if you want a factory-quality finish.

How do I clean and maintain my new upholstery?

Cleaning recommendations depend on the material. Vinyl and leather-style surfaces can generally be wiped down with a mild cleaner and soft cloth, while cloth upholstery may require a fabric-safe cleaner or occasional professional cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes, which can damage the surface or affect color over time.

Does the color and pattern match the original factory interior?

We offer a range of colors and patterns intended to closely match common factory Kenworth interiors, but exact shade matching can vary slightly due to differences in manufacturing batches and material types over the years. If matching an existing interior precisely is important to you, we recommend contacting us with photos or details of your current setup before purchasing.
