Kenworth W900B/W900L Dash Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth W900B/W900L Dash Acc.

Will these dash accessories fit both the W900B and W900L models?

Most items in this category are designed to fit the dash configurations common to both the W900B and W900L, but panel layouts, gauge cutouts, and trim pieces can vary by year and cab setup. Always check the product description for specific fitment notes, and compare measurements or part numbers against your truck before ordering.

What materials are these dash panels and trim pieces made from?

You will typically find dash accessories made from stainless steel, chrome-plated plastic, or textured ABS, depending on the specific piece. Stainless and chrome components tend to hold up well to daily use and cleaning, while plastic or composite pieces are usually lighter and cost less. The product listing will specify the exact material used.

Do I need to modify my dash to install these accessories?

Many dash panels, bezels, and trim overlays are built to install using existing mounting points, holes, or factory adhesive backing, so no cutting or drilling is typically required. However, some accessories, like gauge panels or switch plates, may require you to remove existing trim or gauges first. Review the installation instructions or reach out to our team if you are unsure before you start.

Will these accessories work with my existing gauges, switches, and wiring?

Dash accessories such as gauge bezels, switch panels, and overlays are generally made to work with factory or common aftermarket components, but hole sizes and switch styles can differ. Double check the dimensions and configuration listed for each product against your current setup, especially if you have already upgraded your gauges or switches.

How do I clean and maintain chrome or stainless dash trim?

Chrome and stainless dash accessories should be cleaned regularly with a mild soap and water solution and a soft cloth to prevent buildup from dust, cleaning chemicals, or spilled liquids. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can dull the finish over time. A basic metal polish designed for chrome or stainless can help maintain shine on a regular basis.
