Kenworth T800 Windshield Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth T800 Windshield Acc.

What kinds of products are included in this category?

This category covers accessories related to the windshield area of the Kenworth T800, such as windshield trim, sun visors, wiper components, windshield moldings, and mounting hardware. These parts are focused on the framing, trim, and accessory hardware around the windshield rather than the glass itself.

Will these accessories fit my specific Kenworth T800 model year?

Kenworth T800 trucks have been produced over many years with some design changes, so fitment can vary depending on cab configuration and production year. Always check the listed compatibility details on each product page, and if you are unsure, have your VIN or truck build sheet on hand when contacting our support team to confirm the correct fit.

What materials and finishes are available for windshield trim and accessories?

Most windshield accessories are offered in stainless steel or durable powder-coated finishes to withstand daily highway use and weather exposure. Stainless steel options typically offer a polished, long-lasting look, while coated finishes provide added protection against corrosion and road grime.

Are these parts easy to install, or do I need professional help?

Many windshield trim and accessory pieces are designed for straightforward bolt-on or clip-on installation using existing mounting points, making them manageable for anyone comfortable with basic hand tools. However, components that involve removing existing trim or working near the windshield seal should be installed carefully to avoid damaging the glass seal or introducing leaks. If you are not confident in the process, having a qualified technician install these parts is a good way to avoid costly mistakes.

Will adding windshield accessories affect visibility or wiper function?

Accessories like visors or trim pieces are designed to complement the factory windshield layout without obstructing the driver's view when installed correctly. That said, it is important to follow proper placement guidelines, especially with sun visors, to ensure they do not interfere with wiper movement or create blind spots.
