Kenworth T660 Floor Covers & Mats

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth T660 Floor Covers & Mats

Will these floor mats fit my Kenworth T660 without modification?

Floor mats and covers in this category are designed to match the factory floorboard layout of the Kenworth T660, including the contours around the pedals, doghouse, and sleeper transition where applicable. Because cab configurations and floor layouts can vary slightly by production year and trim, it's a good idea to check the fitment notes on each product listing before ordering to confirm it matches your specific setup.

What materials are these floor covers made from, and how durable are they?

Most floor covers and mats for the T660 are constructed from heavy-duty rubber or vinyl material designed to handle daily wear from boots, dirt, and moisture. Rubber options tend to offer better resistance to cracking and fading over time, while vinyl covers are typically easier to wipe clean. Look at the product description for specific material details, as thickness and finish can vary between manufacturers.

Are these mats easy to clean and maintain?

Yes, floor mats and covers are generally low-maintenance. Rubber and vinyl surfaces can be hosed off, wiped down, or cleaned with standard truck cab cleaners. Textured or ribbed designs help trap dirt and debris, but they still rinse clean fairly easily. Avoid harsh solvents that could dry out or discolor the material over time.

How do I install or remove a floor cover in my T660?

Most floor covers are designed as a direct lay-in or snap-fit replacement over the factory floorboard, requiring no tools or permanent attachment. Simply lift out your existing mat or cover, clean the floor surface underneath, and lay the new cover in place, making sure it sits flush around the pedals and edges. Some full-coverage kits may include multiple pieces that fit together across the cab and sleeper area.

Do these floor mats help with noise or insulation inside the cab?

Many drivers find that heavier rubber floor covers provide a modest reduction in road noise and vibration compared to a bare or worn factory floor, since the material adds a layer of dampening. However, these products are primarily designed for protection and easy cleaning rather than as dedicated sound-deadening solutions, so insulation improvement will be limited.
