International 9300/9370 Cab, Sleeper & Cowl Panels

Frequently Asked Questions About International 9300/9370 Cab, Sleeper & Cowl Panels

What exactly is included in this category?

This category covers exterior sheet metal and panel components for the International 9300 and 9370, including cab corner panels, cab panels, sleeper panels, and cowl panels. These parts make up the structural and cosmetic body panels surrounding the cab and sleeper area, and are commonly needed for collision repair, rust replacement, or restoration work.

Will these panels fit my specific truck model year without modification?

Panels are designed to match the body lines of the 9300 and 9370 series, but because these trucks were built over a long production run with some year-to-year variation, its important to compare your existing panel dimensions and mounting points before ordering. If you're unsure about fitment, reach out to our sales team with your VIN or truck details so we can confirm the correct part for your application.

Are these panels made from the same material as the original factory panels?

Most replacement cab, sleeper, and cowl panels are manufactured from steel or aluminum, depending on the specific panel and manufacturer, to match the original equipment material as closely as possible. Check the individual product listing for material specifications, since this can affect both weight and welding or fastening methods during installation.

Do these panels come primed, painted, or bare metal?

Panel finish varies by product. Some are sold primed and ready for paint, while others are bare metal requiring prep work before finishing. Review the product description for finish details, and plan for paint matching and rust-proofing as part of your installation budget and timeline.

What does installation typically involve, and can I install a panel myself?

Installation generally involves removing the damaged or rusted panel and welding, bolting, or riveting the replacement into place, depending on how the original panel was attached. Some panels are direct bolt-on replacements, while others require welding and body work to blend seams properly. If you're comfortable with basic bodywork and have the right tools, many panels can be installed in a shop setting, but more involved cowl or structural panels may be best handled by an experienced body shop.
