Description
Designed for dependable front-end protection and fit-specific compatibility, the Herd Defender aluminum 2-post grille guard is built for Freightliner Century trucks from 1999-2003. This aftermarket grille guard features a 12-inch extruded aluminum bumper, two fully boxed-in uprights, and 3-inch horizontal tubes designed to help protect the grille, radiator, and other key components from road debris and minor impacts. Standard features include a side and center lower rake design, impact plates, light mounting tabs, eyebolts (on select configurations), and Herd's mirror-polished finish for a clean, professional appearance. Some configurations are available with a slam latch and lift assist for easier hood access, while others are offered without these features and without light cutouts for a more traditional setup. Sold individually as a high-quality aftermarket (non-OEM) replacement, this grille guard is backed by a manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
