Freightliner M2 Business Class Interior Dash Trim

Frequently Asked Questions About Freightliner M2 Business Class Interior Dash Trim

What is included in interior dash trim for the Freightliner M2 Business Class?

This category covers the decorative and functional trim panels that surround and accent the dashboard inside the M2 Business Class cab, including dash bezels, trim panels, gauge surrounds, and console covers. These pieces are designed to restore, replace, or upgrade the look of a worn or damaged dash without replacing the entire dashboard assembly.

Will this dash trim fit my specific model year of Freightliner M2?

Freightliner made changes to the M2 Business Class dash layout over the years, so fit can vary depending on when your truck was built. Always check the product listing for specific year ranges and compare the shape of your current trim piece to the photos provided before ordering. If you are unsure, having your VIN or model year on hand when contacting us can help confirm compatibility.

What materials and finish options are available for dash trim pieces?

Dash trim is commonly available in durable ABS plastic, textured or painted finishes to match factory color schemes, and in some cases wood grain or brushed metal look options for a more upgraded appearance. Material and finish will be noted in each product listing, so review those details to match your cab's existing interior.

Can I install dash trim myself, or do I need a professional?

Most dash trim panels are designed for straightforward installation using existing mounting points, clips, or screws, making them manageable for someone comfortable with basic hand tools. That said, some pieces may require partial disassembly of surrounding dash components, so if you are not familiar with your dashboard's layout, having a technician handle installation can help avoid damage to clips or wiring behind the panel.

How do I clean and maintain dash trim without damaging the finish?

Wipe trim panels down regularly with a soft cloth and a mild interior cleaner to prevent dust and grime buildup, especially in textured areas. Avoid harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners, as these can dull painted or wood grain finishes over time. Keeping trim out of direct, prolonged sunlight when possible will also help prevent fading or warping.
