Freightliner FLC120 Interior Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About Freightliner FLC120 Interior Accessories

Will these interior accessories fit my specific year FLC120?

Most of our FLC120 interior accessories are designed to fit models from 1990 through 2003. However, there were minor interior changes throughout production years. For dash panels and gauge bezels, 1990-1995 models have different mounting points than 1996-2003 models. Always check the product description for specific year compatibility, or contact our customer service team with your OEM number for guaranteed fitment verification.

Are the replacement door panels and interior trim pieces made from OEM-quality materials?

Our interior panels are manufactured from high-grade ABS plastic or molded OEMyl, depending on the specific part. While most are aftermarket replacements, they match or exceed OEM thickness specifications. Door panels feature UV-resistant materials to prevent fading and cracking. For upholstered items like seat covers and headliners, we use commercial-grade vinyl or cloth that withstands heavy daily use and meets FMVSS 302 flammability standards.

What tools and experience level are needed to install interior accessories like gauge panels or switch bezels?

Most interior installations require basic hand tools: Phillips and flathead screwdrivers, trim removal tools, and occasionally a socket set. Gauge bezels and switch panels typically involve removing 4-8 screws and disconnecting electrical connectors. Door panel replacement is more involved, requiring removal of window cranks or power window switches. We rate most interior accessories as beginner to intermediate difficulty, taking 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the component.

Do you offer interior accessories in colors other than standard gray?

Yes, we stock FLC120 interior pieces in multiple colors to match factory interiors. Standard options include gray, tan, and black for most plastic components. Some items like floor mats and seat covers offer additional choices including blue, burgundy, and custom two-tone options. Note that color matching can vary slightly between production runs, so ordering complete sets ensures the best color consistency.

Are the aftermarket gauges and switches compatible with my FLC120's electrical system?

Our replacement gauges are designed as direct-fit replacements for standard FLC120 configurations. Most mechanical gauges work universally, while electrical gauges require matching your truck's sending unit specifications. For switches, we carry both OEM-style replacements that plug directly into factory harnesses and universal switches that may require wire splicing. Always verify voltage requirements (12V or 24V) before ordering electrical components.
