Freightliner Cascadia 116/126 Refrigerators-Mounts

Frequently Asked Questions About Freightliner Cascadia 116/126 Refrigerators-Mounts

What is included with a refrigerator mounting kit for the Cascadia 116/126?

These kits typically include the mounting bracket, hardware, and fasteners needed to secure an in-cab refrigerator to your Freightliner Cascadia 116 or 126. Some kits are designed to work with a specific refrigerator brand or model, while others offer a universal fit, so it is important to check the product description for exact fitment details before purchasing.

Will this mount fit my specific Cascadia model year?

Freightliner made changes to interior configurations across different Cascadia model years, so mounts are not always universal across every year of the 116 or 126. Check the listed compatibility on each product page, and if you are unsure, compare your cab configuration or reach out to our team with your VIN or model year for confirmation before ordering.

What tools do I need to install a refrigerator mount in my Cascadia?

Most refrigerator mounts install using basic hand tools such as a drill, socket set, and wrenches. Installation generally involves securing the bracket to an existing mounting point or floor area in the cab, then attaching the refrigerator to the bracket. Always refer to the instructions included with your specific kit, since mounting locations and hardware can vary by product.

Can I mount a refrigerator that is a different brand than the one the kit was designed for?

Some mounts are built for a specific refrigerator brand or size, while others are more adjustable and can accommodate multiple refrigerator models. Before buying, check the weight capacity and dimensions listed for the mount against your refrigerator's specs to confirm it will be a secure and safe fit.

How much weight can these refrigerator mounts safely support?

Weight capacity varies by product and is typically listed on the individual product page. It is important to stay within the rated capacity to keep the refrigerator securely mounted while driving, especially over rough roads or during hard braking. If a weight rating is not listed, contact us before purchasing to confirm it will support your specific refrigerator.
