Freightliner Cascadia 116/126 Mirrors & Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About Freightliner Cascadia 116/126 Mirrors & Acc.

Will these mirrors and accessories fit both the 116 and 126 Cascadia models?

Most mirrors and mirror accessories in this category are designed to fit both the Cascadia 116 and 126, since these models share the same cab and mirror mounting configuration. However, mirror arm length, mounting style, and heated/power features can vary by production year, so it's important to check the specific product details or reach out to our team with your truck's year and VIN before ordering.

Are these mirrors heated and motorized, or manual?

We carry both heated power mirrors and standard manual mirrors, along with replacement heads, arms, and brackets for each type. Be sure to check the product listing to confirm whether the mirror includes heating elements, power adjustment motors, or is a manual-only unit, since replacing one type with the other may require additional wiring or hardware.

Can I install these mirrors and accessories myself, or do I need a professional?

Many customers install replacement mirror heads, glass, and brackets themselves using basic hand tools, and these components typically bolt on using the factory mounting points. Full mirror arm assemblies or power/heated mirror units that involve wiring connections can be more involved, so if you're not comfortable working with electrical connectors, having a shop handle the installation is a good option.

What material and finish options are available for these mirrors and brackets?

Mirror housings, arms, and brackets are commonly available in chrome-plated, painted, and black finishes to match different cab styles and personal preferences. Materials typically include durable plastic composites for housings and steel or aluminum for structural arms and brackets, which hold up well to daily highway use.

Do these mirrors include the wiring, heater elements, and hardware needed for installation, or are those sold separately?

This varies by product, so always check the listing description carefully. Some mirror assemblies come complete with wiring pigtails, heater elements, and mounting hardware included, while other listings are for individual components like glass, housings, or arms only, which assume you already have the rest of the assembly in place.
