Freightliner Cascadia 116/126 Interior Dash Trim

Frequently Asked Questions About Freightliner Cascadia 116/126 Interior Dash Trim

Will this dash trim fit my specific Cascadia model year?

Freightliner made several updates to the Cascadia interior over the years, so dash trim pieces are not always interchangeable across all model years. Be sure to check the listed year range and cab configuration (116 or 126) on each product page before ordering, and compare the shape of your existing trim piece to the photos provided to confirm a proper match.

What materials are these dash trim pieces made from, and how durable are they?

Interior dash trim for the Cascadia is typically made from ABS plastic or similar molded composites, often finished with a woodgrain, carbon fiber, or matte textured look to match factory styling. These finishes are designed to hold up to daily cab use, but like any interior trim, they can fade or wear over time with prolonged sun exposure, so keeping the dash out of direct sunlight when possible will help preserve the finish.

Do I need any special tools to install dash trim panels?

Most dash trim pieces are designed to install using basic hand tools such as a screwdriver or trim removal tool, and many panels use the factory mounting points, clips, or adhesive backing. Installation difficulty can vary depending on the specific panel, so we recommend reviewing any included instructions or reaching out to our team if you are unsure about the process for a particular part.

Will the color and finish match the rest of my factory dash?

We carry dash trim in finishes designed to closely match common factory Cascadia interior options, including woodgrain and carbon fiber styles. Keep in mind that slight variations in color or texture can occur due to cab age, prior sun fading, or differences between manufacturing batches, so exact matches are not always guaranteed, especially on older trucks.

Can I replace just one damaged section, or do I need to buy a full dash trim kit?

Many dash trim pieces are sold individually so you can replace only the damaged or worn section rather than the entire dash. However, some styles are only available as part of a complete kit. Check each product listing to see whether it is sold as an individual piece or as a full set, and compare it to the section of your dash that needs replacing.
