Peterbilt 375/377 Floor Covers & Mats

Frequently Asked Questions About Peterbilt 375/377 Floor Covers & Mats

Will these floor mats fit my Peterbilt 375 or 377 without modification?

Floor mats and covers in this category are designed to match the factory floorboard layout of the Peterbilt 375 and 377 models, including cutouts for pedals, shifters, and mounting points where applicable. However, cab configuration, floor shifter placement, and interior trim can vary by model year and build, so it's a good idea to check the product description and measurements against your specific cab before ordering.

What materials are these floor covers made from, and how do they hold up over time?

Most floor covers and mats in this category are made from heavy-duty rubber or vinyl designed to withstand daily wear, dirt, moisture, and temperature swings inside the cab. Rubber options tend to offer better durability and grip, while vinyl mats are often chosen for easier cleaning and a more finished look. Both materials are built to hold up to regular use, but the exact lifespan will depend on driving conditions and how often the truck is in use.

How do I clean and maintain my floor mats?

Most rubber and vinyl floor covers can be removed and cleaned with soap and water, a hose, or a shop vacuum for loose debris. Regularly shaking out or rinsing mats helps prevent dirt, salt, and moisture buildup that can lead to staining or odor over time. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners that could dry out or discolor the material.

Do these floor mats require any special installation, or do they just lay in place?

Most floor covers in this category are designed as a direct drop-in fit, meaning no drilling or permanent attachment is required. Some full-coverage mats may include factory-style cutouts or retention points to help keep them from shifting while driving. Always confirm placement around pedals and floor-mounted controls to ensure nothing interferes with safe operation.

Are these floor mats available in different colors or styles to match my interior?

Yes, many floor cover options come in multiple colors and finishes, such as black, gray, or tan, to help match or complement the existing cab interior. Some styles offer a textured or diamond-plate look, while others are designed with a smoother, factory-style finish. Available options can vary by product, so check each listing for the specific color and style choices offered.
