Peterbilt 367 Windshield, Wiper & Roof Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About Peterbilt 367 Windshield, Wiper & Roof Acc.

Will these windshield, wiper, and roof accessories fit my Peterbilt 367 without modification?

Products listed in this category are designed to fit the Peterbilt 367 cab configuration. However, because the 367 was produced over several years and may have slight variations depending on cab style and build date, we recommend double-checking part numbers and measurements against your truck before ordering. If you are unsure about fitment, our team can help confirm compatibility based on your VIN or cab specs.

What materials are these parts made from, and how do they hold up over time?

Depending on the specific item, you will find components made from stainless steel, chrome-plated metal, aluminum, or durable rubber and polymer seals. Stainless and chrome pieces are chosen for their resistance to corrosion and road grime, while seals and wiper components are made to withstand sun, temperature swings, and constant exposure to the elements. Proper cleaning and occasional inspection will help extend the life of any of these parts.

Are these OEM parts, aftermarket replacements, or upgrades?

This category includes a mix of OEM-style replacement parts and aftermarket accessories, such as visors, wind deflectors, wiper arms and blades, windshield trim, and roof-mounted lights or accessories. Product listings specify whether an item is a direct OEM replacement or an aftermarket upgrade, so you can choose based on whether you want to restore factory appearance or add a custom look.

How difficult is installation, and can I do it myself?

Many items in this category, such as wiper blades, trim pieces, and visors, are designed for straightforward bolt-on or clip-on installation using basic hand tools. Roof-mounted accessories and larger trim pieces may require drilling or additional mounting hardware, which is typically included or noted in the product description. If a part involves wiring, such as roof lights, some basic electrical knowledge is helpful. For anything beyond simple hardware installation, we recommend having a qualified technician assist to avoid damage to the cab or windshield seal.

Will adding roof accessories or windshield trim affect my truck's weather sealing or visibility?

When properly installed, these accessories should not compromise the factory weather seal or driver visibility. It is important to follow the included mounting instructions closely, use the correct hardware, and ensure any drilled holes are sealed appropriately to prevent leaks. Wind deflectors and visors are designed to reduce wind noise and glare without obstructing your sightlines, but proper alignment during installation is key to getting the intended benefit.
