Peterbilt 367 Driving Lights

Frequently Asked Questions About Peterbilt 367 Driving Lights

Will these driving lights fit my Peterbilt 367 without modification?

Driving lights in this category are designed to match the factory mounting locations and bezel openings on the Peterbilt 367, including common spots like the bumper, grille, and cab area. Because the 367 was produced across several years with some variation in trim and options, we recommend checking the listed fitment notes on each product page and comparing bolt patterns or housing dimensions to your truck before ordering.

What is the difference between the light housing and the bulb or LED module inside it?

Some products in this category are complete assemblies that include the housing, lens, and light source, while others are replacement lenses, housings, or bulb/LED units meant to be installed into your existing housing. Read the product title and description carefully to confirm whether you are purchasing a full light assembly or just a component, since this affects both fit and price.

Are these driving lights DOT compliant for on-road use?

Many driving lights are intended as supplemental lighting rather than a replacement for required headlights or marker lights, so DOT compliance depends on the specific product and how it is used on your truck. Check the specifications listed on each product page, and if you are unsure whether a particular light meets requirements for your state or application, consult your local DMV or a qualified truck lighting professional before installation.

Do these lights come with the wiring and hardware needed for installation?

This varies by product. Some driving lights include mounting hardware, wiring harnesses, and connectors, while others may require you to reuse existing wiring or purchase additional components separately. The product description will indicate what is included, so review it closely, especially if you are replacing a light with a different style or bulb type than what came stock on your 367.

What housing materials and finish options are available, and how do they hold up over time?

Driving light housings are commonly available in chrome-plated or stainless steel finishes, as well as black or painted options, depending on the specific product. Chrome and stainless finishes tend to hold up well against road grime and washing when cleaned regularly, while painted finishes may show wear sooner in high-mileage, on-road conditions. Choose a finish that matches the rest of your truck's trim and your maintenance routine.
