Peterbilt 357/378 Sleeper Roof Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About Peterbilt 357/378 Sleeper Roof Acc.

What kinds of products are included in this category?

This category covers sleeper roof accessories for Peterbilt 357 and 378 models, including roof fairings, air deflectors, cab extenders, roof marker light bars, antenna mounts, and related trim and hardware designed to fit the sleeper roof area of these trucks.

Will these parts fit my specific Peterbilt 357 or 378 configuration?

Most items are designed to match the factory sleeper roof profile for the 357 and 378 series, but fitment can vary depending on cab height, sleeper size, and year of manufacture. Check the listed specifications and measurements for each product, and compare them to your truck before ordering. If you are unsure, contact our parts team with your VIN or truck specs for confirmation.

What materials and finishes are available?

Sleeper roof accessories are typically offered in fiberglass, aluminum, or ABS plastic, depending on the part. Finish options often include gel-coat, primed (ready to paint), or pre-painted to match common Peterbilt color codes. Material choice affects weight, durability, and paint compatibility, so review each product description carefully.

Do these accessories require drilling or modification for installation?

Many roof fairings and light bars are designed to use existing mounting points or factory-style brackets, but some installations may require drilling new holes or minor trimming to achieve a proper fit. Installation instructions or hardware kits are included where applicable, and we recommend having a qualified technician handle any drilling or wiring work.

Are roof-mounted lights and wiring DOT compliant?

Marker lights and clearance lights sold in this category are generally manufactured to meet DOT and FMVSS 108 lighting standards, but proper compliance also depends on correct installation, wiring, and placement on your specific truck. Always verify local and federal lighting requirements after installation to confirm your setup is legal for road use.
