Kenworth W900B/W900L Toggle Extensions

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth W900B/W900L Toggle Extensions

What exactly are toggle extensions and what do they do?

Toggle extensions are add-on panels that attach to your Kenworth W900B or W900L dash or switch panel area, giving you additional space and pre-cut holes to mount extra toggle switches. They are a popular way to add controls for extra lights, air horns, or other accessories without cutting into your factory dash.

What materials and finishes are these panels available in?

Most toggle extensions are made from stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance. You will typically find them in a polished or brushed finish to closely match the rest of your dash hardware and interior trim.

Will a toggle extension fit my specific truck's dash setup?

Toggle extensions are designed to fit the W900B and W900L dash layouts, but exact fitment can vary depending on your truck's model year and whether your dash has been modified from factory. Check the listed dimensions and hole spacing against your existing panel before ordering, and reach out to our team if you are unsure.

Do these come with switches, wiring, or mounting hardware included?

This varies by product, so check the item description carefully. Many toggle extensions are sold as the panel only, meaning switches, wiring, and mounting hardware are purchased separately. Some kits do include mounting screws or brackets, so review the listing details before you order.

How difficult is it to install a toggle extension myself?

Installation is generally straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic hand tools and simple wiring. It typically involves securing the panel to the dash or existing switch bezel and wiring in your chosen switches. If you are not familiar with automotive wiring, we recommend having a qualified installer handle the electrical connections to avoid damaging your truck's existing wiring or switches.
