Kenworth T700 Mirrors & Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth T700 Mirrors & Acc.

Will these mirrors and accessories fit my Kenworth T700 without modification?

Products in this category are designed to match the OEM mounting configuration for the Kenworth T700, so they typically bolt on using the existing mounting arms and hardware locations. That said, mirror styles and arm designs can vary by production year, so it's a good idea to check the specific mounting bracket style on your truck or compare part numbers before ordering to ensure a proper fit.

What materials and finish options are available for these mirrors?

You'll find mirror heads and housings offered in chrome-plated, stainless steel, and black finishes, along with heated and non-heated glass options. Convex and flat mirror glass are both common, so pick the style that matches your current setup or driving preference. Stainless and chrome finishes hold up well to weather but still require regular cleaning to prevent pitting or corrosion over time.

Do heated mirrors require any special wiring or electrical work to install?

Heated mirror assemblies need to be connected to your truck's electrical system, typically tapping into an existing heated mirror circuit if your T700 came equipped with that feature. If your truck wasn't originally wired for heated mirrors, you may need to run additional wiring and add a switch or relay, which is more involved than a simple mirror swap.

Can I replace just the mirror glass or housing instead of the whole assembly?

Yes, in many cases you can replace individual components like the mirror glass, motor, or housing rather than the entire arm and mirror assembly. This is often more cost-effective if only one part is damaged. Just make sure the replacement part matches your mirror's specific style and size, since housings and glass are not always interchangeable across different mirror designs.

How do I install or adjust these mirrors once they arrive?

Most mirror assemblies mount using the factory bracket and a few bolts, making installation straightforward with basic hand tools. Once mounted, mirrors can be manually adjusted or, if equipped, adjusted electronically through in-cab controls. We recommend double-checking all mounting bolts are torqued properly and that any electrical connections are secure before hitting the road.
