Kenworth T660 Windshield, Wiper & Roof Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth T660 Windshield, Wiper & Roof Acc.

Will these windshield, wiper, and roof accessories fit my Kenworth T660?

Products in this category are designed to fit the Kenworth T660 platform, but exact fitment can vary depending on cab configuration, production year, and whether your truck has factory or aftermarket components already installed. Before ordering, check the product description for specific fitment notes and compare part numbers with your current setup. If you are unsure, our team can help confirm compatibility before you buy.

What materials are these parts made from, and how do they hold up over time?

Windshield trim, wiper components, and roof accessories are typically made from materials such as stainless steel, chrome-plated metal, or durable plastics and rubber compounds, depending on the specific part. Stainless and chrome pieces are chosen for corrosion resistance and long-term appearance, while wiper components use materials designed to withstand UV exposure, temperature swings, and constant movement. Proper care, such as regular cleaning and avoiding harsh chemical cleaners on chrome or plated finishes, will help these parts last longer.

How difficult is it to install these accessories myself?

Many items in this category, such as visors, trim pieces, and wiper arms or blades, are designed for straightforward installation using basic hand tools and typically follow the same mounting points as the original equipment. Roof-mounted accessories and windshield trim may require more attention to alignment and sealing to prevent water intrusion or wind noise. If a part involves drilling, sealing, or electrical connections, we recommend having it installed by someone experienced with truck bodywork to ensure a proper fit and finish.

Will adding roof accessories or a visor affect my visibility or wiper performance?

Roof accessories like visors and windshield trim are designed to complement the T660 cab without obstructing the driver's line of sight, but improper installation or an incorrect fit can create blind spots or interfere with wiper arm movement. Always double check clearance around the wiper sweep area and mirror sightlines during installation, and test wiper function before hitting the road.

Are these parts OEM, aftermarket, or both, and does that affect quality?

This category includes a mix of OEM and quality aftermarket parts, and each product listing specifies which type you are purchasing. OEM parts are built to match the original factory specifications, while aftermarket options often provide a similar fit and function at a different price point. Quality can vary between manufacturers, so we recommend reading product descriptions closely and reaching out to our team if you have questions about a specific brand or part before making a purchase.
