Kenworth T660 Dash Nuts & Screws

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth T660 Dash Nuts & Screws

What are Kenworth T660 dash nuts and screws used for?

These small hardware components are used to secure interior dash panels, trim pieces, and gauge clusters in place on the Kenworth T660. Over time, factory nuts and screws can strip, corrode, or go missing, and replacing them keeps your dash panels tight and rattle-free.

Will these nuts and screws fit my Kenworth T660 without modification?

These fasteners are designed to match the sizing and thread specifications used on Kenworth T660 dash assemblies. That said, dash configurations can vary slightly depending on model year and trim package, so it is a good idea to compare the thread size, length, and head style of your existing hardware before ordering to confirm a proper fit.

What material are the dash nuts and screws made from, and will they hold up over time?

Most dash fasteners in this category are made from steel or other durable metals designed to withstand daily cab vibration and temperature changes. Choosing hardware with a corrosion-resistant finish, such as zinc plating, can help extend the life of the fasteners in the cab environment.

Can I install these dash nuts and screws myself, or do I need a technician?

Most dash nuts and screws are straightforward to install with basic hand tools like a screwdriver or small wrench or socket. Since they are typically used for interior trim and panel retention rather than structural or safety-critical components, most drivers and shop technicians can complete the swap without specialized equipment.

How do I know if I need a full set or just a few replacement pieces?

If only one or two fasteners are stripped, missing, or damaged, you can usually order individual pieces to match your existing hardware. If your dash panels are loose in multiple spots or you are restoring an older interior, purchasing a set can save time and ensure consistent sizing and finish across all mounting points.
