Kenworth T300-T450 Windshield Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth T300-T450 Windshield Acc.

What kinds of products are included in this category?

This category covers windshield-related accessories for Kenworth T300 through T450 models, including items such as windshield trim, moldings, sun visors, wiper components, windshield glass seals, and mounting hardware used around the windshield area of the cab. These parts are designed to complement the factory windshield setup on these Kenworth models.

Will these accessories fit my specific Kenworth model and year?

Kenworth made changes to cab and windshield designs across the T300, T440, and T450 production years, so fit can vary even within the same model line. Always check the listed year range and model compatibility on each product page before ordering, and compare part numbers or measurements against your truck when possible. If you are unsure, reach out to our team with your VIN or model year for confirmation.

What materials and finishes are available for these parts?

Depending on the specific product, you will find options in chrome-plated steel, stainless steel, and durable powder-coated finishes. Chrome and stainless options are popular for their appearance and corrosion resistance, while other finishes may offer a more understated look. Product listings specify the material and finish so you can choose what matches your truck's existing hardware and style.

Do these accessories require drilling or major modification to install?

Many windshield accessories, such as trim pieces and visors, are designed to use existing mounting points or factory hardware, meaning minimal to no drilling is typically required. However, some visor or bracket kits may require basic drilling or the use of provided mounting brackets. Installation instructions or hardware details are noted on the product page, and basic hand tools are usually sufficient for most installs.

Will adding a sun visor or trim piece affect visibility or driver safety?

Properly installed sun visors and trim pieces are designed to sit outside the direct line of sight and should not obstruct your view of the road when mounted correctly according to product specifications. That said, drivers should always test visibility from the seated driving position after installation and adjust or reposition accessories as needed to maintain a clear, unobstructed view before operating the vehicle.
