Kenworth T300-T450 Interior Dash Trim

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth T300-T450 Interior Dash Trim

Will this dash trim fit my specific Kenworth T300, T440, or T450 model year?

Interior dash trim pieces are typically designed to match the factory dash layout for a given production range, but Kenworth made changes to dash configurations across model years. Always check the listed year range and part description carefully, and compare your existing trim piece or dash cutout shape before ordering to confirm a proper fit.

What material and finish options are available for these trim pieces?

Dash trim for these models is commonly offered in materials like ABS plastic, woodgrain-style laminate, or painted finishes designed to match factory interior colors. Finish options may vary by specific panel, so check each product listing for available color and texture choices before purchasing.

Do these trim panels come pre-cut for gauges, switches, and accessories?

Many dash trim panels are manufactured with factory-style cutouts for existing gauges, switches, and vents. If you have added aftermarket accessories or non-factory components, you may need to verify hole placement or do additional trimming to achieve a clean fit.

Is professional installation required, or can I install the trim myself?

Most interior dash trim panels are designed for straightforward installation using existing mounting points, clips, or screws, making them manageable for someone comfortable with basic hand tools. That said, removing your old dash panel carefully and taking note of wiring or switch connections beforehand will make the swap much easier.

How do I clean and maintain dash trim to keep it looking new?

Wipe down trim panels regularly with a soft cloth and a mild automotive interior cleaner to avoid scratching the finish. Avoid harsh solvents or abrasive pads, especially on woodgrain or painted finishes, since they can dull the surface or cause discoloration over time.
