Kenworth T300-T450 Floor Covers & Mats

Kenworth T300/T450 Floor Mats and Replacement Cab Flooring

If your factory surface is torn or stained, a cut-to-fit truck cab floor kit style replacement gives you a fresh, finished look. If your floor is still solid, add all-weather semi truck floor liners on top to trap mess before it spreads. Fitment matters around the pedals and shifter. Some trucks need a manual transmission floor mat cutout. Others run an automatic transmission floor mat footprint with more continuous coverage. Replacement flooring also varies by year range and shifter hole size, so matching the correct layout keeps the floor flat and prevents gaps that collect grit.

Use Ribbed Rubber or Vinyl Rubber Flooring for Wipe-Down Maintenance

When you want durability first, go with ribbed rubber-style flooring for slip-resistant truck flooring grip. It handles daily abuse and keeps your footing steady when the floor gets wet. Prefer a smoother surface that still works hard? A heavy duty vinyl truck flooring option wipes down fast and resists staining better than carpet. Both styles often include padding, which helps the cab feel less harsh and cuts some road noise through the floor.

Trap Mud and Spills With Thermoplastic Floor Liners

For everyday protection, thermoplastic truck floor liners with raised edges act like a tray. They hold slush, mud, and spills so liquid doesn't run under the mat. This is the go-to setup for vocational use, especially when you're in and out all day. Look for a precise fit around steering column trim and floor contours. A clean fit keeps debris from sneaking past the edges.

Upgrade the Sleeper With Padded Carpet Coverage

If you run a bunk, add truck sleeper floor mats or a sleeper carpet replacement with bonded padding. It makes the sleeper quieter, warmer, and more comfortable underfoot. Carpet coverage also gives the back a cleaner, uniform look, great for semi truck interior restoration without a full rebuild.

Make the Cab Quieter With Sound Deadening and Thermal Insulation

Before installing new flooring, add sound deadening truck floor insulation or a truck cab hush mat layer. It reduces vibration, blocks engine heat, and helps the cab stay more comfortable through temperature swings. If you spend nights in the truck, a stable bed base for common mattress sizes can also improve rest by reducing shifting and squeaks.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth T300-T450 Floor Covers & Mats

Will these floor mats fit my specific Kenworth model year without modification?

Floor covers and mats in this category are designed to match the cab configuration of Kenworth T300 through T450 trucks, but fitment can vary depending on the model year and whether your truck has a day cab or sleeper setup. Always check the product listing for specific model year ranges and cab type compatibility before ordering, and compare floor dimensions if you are unsure.

What material are these floor covers made from, and how durable are they?

Most floor covers and mats for this application are made from heavy duty rubber or vinyl designed to withstand daily wear, dirt, moisture, and temperature changes inside a working truck cab. These materials are chosen for their resistance to cracking and fading over time, though durability can vary by manufacturer and product line, so review the specific product description for material details.

Are these mats easy to clean and maintain?

Yes, rubber and vinyl floor covers are generally easy to maintain. Most can be removed and hosed off, swept out, or wiped down with soap and water. Regularly cleaning debris and moisture from underneath the mat also helps protect the original cab flooring.

Do I need any tools or professional help to install a new floor cover?

Most floor covers and mats are designed as direct drop-in replacements that do not require tools or professional installation. You simply remove the old mat or cover and lay the new one in place, making sure it sits flush around pedals, the doghouse, and other floor contours.

Will a floor cover help protect the original cab flooring underneath?

Yes, one of the main purposes of a floor cover is to protect the factory flooring from dirt, moisture, fuel, oil, and general wear caused by daily driving and cab traffic. Using a durable cover can help extend the life of the original floor and make cleanup significantly easier.
