Kenworth T2000 Windshield, Wiper & Roof Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth T2000 Windshield, Wiper & Roof Acc.

Will these windshield, wiper, and roof accessories fit my Kenworth T2000?

Products in this category are designed specifically for the Kenworth T2000, but fitment can still vary depending on your truck's model year and original cab configuration. Always check the product description and measurements against your specific truck before ordering, and reach out to our team if you are unsure about compatibility.

What materials are these parts made from, and how do they hold up over time?

Depending on the specific part, you will find components made from materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, or durable automotive-grade rubber and polymer for seals and wiper components. Stainless and aluminum pieces typically resist corrosion well, while rubber and polymer parts are built to withstand sun, road grime, and temperature swings, though all exterior components will show wear over time with regular use.

Are these OEM parts, or aftermarket replacements?

This category includes a mix of OEM and quality aftermarket options. Aftermarket parts are manufactured to match the fit and function of the original components, often at a more affordable price point. Product listings will indicate whether an item is OEM or aftermarket so you can choose based on your preference and budget.

How difficult is it to install items like wiper arms, windshield trim, or roof accessories myself?

Many parts in this category, such as wiper blades, arms, and trim pieces, are designed for straightforward installation with basic hand tools and can often be swapped out in a driveway or shop setting. More involved components, like windshield seals or larger roof-mounted accessories, may require additional care or a second set of hands to ensure a proper seal and secure fit. If you are unsure, we recommend having a qualified technician handle installation.

Will adding roof accessories or trim affect my truck's weather sealing or cause leaks?

When installed correctly with the proper gaskets, sealant, and hardware, windshield and roof accessories should not compromise your cab's weather sealing. It is important to follow the manufacturer's installation instructions closely and inspect seals periodically, since improper installation is the most common cause of leaks around windshields and roof-mounted parts.
