International ProStar Floor Covers & Mats

Frequently Asked Questions About International ProStar Floor Covers & Mats

Will these floor covers and mats fit my International ProStar without modification?

Floor covers and mats in this category are designed to match the factory floor layout of the International ProStar, including the contours around the pedals, doghouse, and sleeper area where applicable. Because floor configurations can vary slightly by model year and cab style, it is a good idea to check the fitment notes on each product listing and compare them to your cab and trim level before ordering.

What materials are these floor covers and mats made from, and how durable are they?

Most options are made from rubber or heavy-duty vinyl material designed to hold up to daily wear, dirt, moisture, and constant foot traffic in a working truck cab. Rubber mats tend to offer more flexibility and grip, while vinyl covers often provide a cleaner, more finished look. The right choice depends on how you use your truck and how much abuse the floor takes on a regular basis.

Are these floor covers and mats easy to install and remove for cleaning?

Yes, the vast majority of floor covers and mats in this category are designed as a drop-in fit, meaning no permanent installation, adhesives, or tools are required. This makes it simple to pull them out for cleaning, hosing off, or shaking out debris, then set them back into place.

Will a floor cover or mat help protect the original truck flooring underneath?

That is one of the main reasons drivers add a floor cover or mat, since it creates a barrier between the cab floor and dirt, moisture, fuel or oil residue, and general wear from boots and equipment. Over time this can help keep the original flooring in better condition and cut down on cleaning time.

How do I clean and maintain these floor covers and mats once installed?

Cleaning is usually straightforward. Most mats and covers can be removed from the cab, rinsed with water, and scrubbed with a mild soap or truck-safe cleaner to remove caked-on dirt or grime. Make sure the mat is fully dry before placing it back in the cab to avoid trapping moisture underneath.
