International LT Frame Light Bars & Filler Panels

Frequently Asked Questions About International LT Frame Light Bars & Filler Panels

What are frame light bars and filler panels used for?

Frame light bars and filler panels mount between the frame rails on your International LT, typically below the bumper or grille area, to hold auxiliary lighting and close the gap between components. They give your truck a finished, factory-style appearance while providing a mounting point for additional lights.

Will these light bars and filler panels fit my International LT without modification?

These panels are designed to match the frame dimensions and mounting points of the International LT series. However, exact fit can vary slightly depending on your truck's model year and any prior modifications to the frame or bumper setup, so it's a good idea to compare measurements against your existing setup or check with our team before ordering if you're unsure.

What materials and finish options are available?

Filler panels and light bars are commonly offered in stainless steel or aluminum construction. Stainless steel options typically come polished or in a brushed finish for durability and a clean look, while aluminum panels offer a lighter-weight alternative. Check the individual product listing for the specific material and finish of each item.

Are these panels pre-drilled for lights, or do I need to cut holes myself?

Many filler panels come pre-drilled with mounting holes sized for standard round or oval lights, so you can install lights directly out of the box. Some panels are sold blank for a custom setup. Be sure to check the product description for hole spacing and light size compatibility before purchasing.

What's involved in installing a frame light bar or filler panel?

Installation generally involves removing any existing filler piece or bracket, positioning the new panel between the frame rails, and securing it with bolts through the existing mounting points. Most installations can be done with basic hand tools, but having a second set of hands can help when aligning larger panels. If your panel includes lights, you'll also need to run and connect the wiring to your truck's electrical system.
