International IH Cabover Frame Light Bar-Panel

Frequently Asked Questions About International IH Cabover Frame Light Bar-Panel

What is a frame light bar-panel used for on an International IH cabover?

This panel mounts to the truck's frame, typically below the bumper or between the frame rails, to fill the gap on the front end while also providing a mounting surface for marker lights, clearance lights, or auxiliary lighting. It serves both a cosmetic and functional purpose, giving the front end a finished look while adding lighting options.

Will this panel fit my specific International IH cabover model?

Frame light bar-panels are typically designed to match specific International IH cabover models and frame widths, so fitment can vary between years and configurations. Check the listed specifications and compare them against your truck's frame dimensions before ordering, and reach out to our team if you're unsure about compatibility.

What material and finish options are available?

These panels are commonly available in stainless steel or aluminized/painted steel, depending on the specific product. Stainless steel options often come in a polished or brushed finish for a bright, low-maintenance appearance, while painted or primed panels give you the option to match or customize your paint scheme.

Do these panels come pre-drilled for lights, or do I need to drill my own holes?

Many frame light bar-panels come pre-drilled with mounting holes sized for standard round or oval lights, which simplifies installation. However, hole placement and size can vary by product, so check the product details to confirm it matches the lights you plan to install before you order.

How difficult is it to install a frame light bar-panel?

Installation generally involves bolting the panel to existing frame mounting points, so it doesn't typically require cutting or welding if the panel is designed for your specific truck. Basic hand tools are usually enough, though you may need to run and connect wiring if the panel includes light openings. Reviewing the included hardware and instructions before starting will help the job go smoothly.
