International IH Cabover Floor Covers & Mats

Frequently Asked Questions About International IH Cabover Floor Covers & Mats

Will these floor mats fit my specific International IH Cabover model?

International IH Cabover trucks were produced over many years with some variation in cab floor layout, so fit can differ between models and model years. Before ordering, check the product listing for the specific IH Cabover models it is designed for, and compare pedal and floor hump locations with your truck. If you are unsure, our team can help confirm compatibility before you buy.

What materials are these floor covers made from, and how durable are they?

Floor covers and mats in this category are typically made from heavy-duty rubber or vinyl designed to handle daily wear, dirt, and moisture inside the cab. Rubber options generally offer better resistance to cracking and fading over time, while vinyl can provide a more finished look. Review the specific product description for material details on the item you are considering.

How do I install or replace a cabover floor mat?

Most floor covers are designed as a direct drop-in replacement that follows the factory floor contours, requiring no permanent fasteners or adhesives in many cases. Simply remove the old mat or cover, clean the floor underneath, and lay the new one in place, making sure it sits flush around pedals and floor humps. Some designs may include trim edges or retention clips, so check the installation notes included with your specific product.

Will a floor mat help protect against rust or moisture damage in the cab?

A quality floor cover can help shield the cab floor from spilled liquids, road salt, mud, and general moisture that contributes to rust over time. However, mats work best as a preventive layer and are not a substitute for repairing existing floor damage or addressing water leaks into the cab. If you already have rust or leaks, those issues should be addressed separately.

How do I clean and maintain these floor mats?

Most rubber and vinyl floor covers can be removed and hosed off or scrubbed with soap and water, then air dried before reinstalling. Regular cleaning helps prevent trapped moisture and debris from sitting against the cab floor, which extends both the mat's life and the condition of the floor underneath.
