International HX Gauges & Switches

Frequently Asked Questions About International HX Gauges & Switches

Will these gauges and switches fit my International HX Series truck?

Products in this category are designed to match the fitment and electrical specifications of the International HX Series, including common models like the HX520 and HX615. However, gauge clusters and switch panels can vary by model year and dash configuration, so it's important to check the part number and confirm compatibility with your truck's VIN or existing gauge style before ordering.

What is the difference between OEM and aftermarket gauges and switches for this truck?

OEM gauges and switches are built to the exact specifications International used on the original dash, ensuring a factory look and precise calibration. Aftermarket options can offer a lower-cost alternative and may include additional features, but fit, finish, and long-term durability can vary by manufacturer. We recommend reviewing product descriptions closely to see whether an item is OEM, OEM-replacement, or aftermarket.

How do I know which gauge or switch I need to replace?

Start by identifying the specific function of the gauge or switch you're replacing, such as oil pressure, coolant temperature, or a rocker switch for lighting or accessories. Matching the part number stamped on the back of the old unit, or comparing images and dimensions on the product page, is the most reliable way to confirm you're ordering the correct replacement.

Are these gauges and switches straightforward to install myself?

Many gauges and switches are designed as direct plug-and-play replacements that use the existing wiring harness and dash cutout, making them manageable for someone comfortable with basic electrical work. That said, some installations may require dash panel removal or wiring adjustments, so reviewing your truck's service manual or consulting a professional is a good idea if you're unsure.

Do these gauges and switches come with a warranty?

Warranty coverage depends on the specific manufacturer and product, and details are listed on each individual product page. We recommend reviewing the warranty information before purchase and keeping your receipt, since most warranties require proof of purchase for claims related to defects or premature failure.
