International 9300/9370 Switch Trim & ID Labels

Frequently Asked Questions About International 9300/9370 Switch Trim & ID Labels

What exactly are switch trim and ID labels used for?

Switch trim panels are the plastic or chrome bezels that surround the switches on your International 9300/9370 dashboard, while ID labels are the small printed or embossed tags that identify what each switch controls, such as headlights, wipers, or marker lights. Together, they finish out the look of your dash and help you and other drivers quickly identify switch functions.

Will these trim pieces and labels fit my specific International 9300 or 9370 model year?

These parts are designed to match the dash layout used on International 9300 and 9370 trucks, but switch panel configurations can vary slightly by model year and trim level. Before ordering, check your switch panel size, mounting style, and hole pattern against the product specifications listed, or compare against your existing trim piece to confirm a proper fit.

Are the switch trim panels made of chrome-plated plastic or metal?

Most switch trim panels in this category are chrome-plated ABS plastic, which gives them a bright, durable finish similar to metal trim at a lower cost and weight. If a listing specifies a different material or finish, such as brushed stainless, that information will be noted in the product description.

How do I install replacement switch trim or ID labels?

Installation typically involves removing the old trim piece by releasing its retaining clips or screws from behind the dash panel, then snapping or securing the new trim into place. ID labels usually peel and stick directly onto or near the corresponding switch, or slide into a designated label slot on the trim itself. No special tools are generally required, but a trim removal tool can help avoid scratching your dash.

Will the ID labels stay legible and adhered over time with regular use?

Quality ID labels are made to hold up to daily cab conditions, including sunlight and temperature swings, but like any adhesive label, they can fade or wear with years of exposure and frequent handling. If you need a label to remain highly legible long-term, keeping the switch area clean and avoiding harsh solvents near the label will help extend its readability.
