International 9300/9370 Dash Knobs

Frequently Asked Questions About International 9300/9370 Dash Knobs

Will these dash knobs fit my International 9300 or 9370 exactly?

These knobs are designed to match the factory dash controls found on International 9300 and 9370 models, including functions like headlight switches, panel dimmers, and heater or vent controls. Because dash configurations can vary slightly by production year and trim, it is a good idea to compare the shaft size, thread pattern, and knob shape to your existing part before ordering, especially if your truck has had any dash components replaced or upgraded in the past.

What materials are these knobs made from, and how durable are they?

Dash knobs in this category are typically made from chrome-plated plastic or metal, built to withstand daily handling, temperature swings inside the cab, and long-term wear from sun exposure. Chrome finishes are popular for both their durability and their ability to match other polished trim pieces inside the truck.

How do I install a replacement dash knob?

Most dash knobs simply pull off or unscrew from the existing shaft, depending on the style of control. Once removed, the new knob typically pushes on or threads into place by hand, without requiring any tools or wiring work. If your knob controls an electrical function, double check that the switch itself is off before removing or replacing the knob to avoid unintentionally engaging any lights or accessories.

Can I use these knobs to upgrade the look of my interior, not just replace a broken one?

Yes, many customers choose these knobs purely for appearance, swapping out worn or faded factory knobs for a cleaner, more polished chrome look. Since they are designed to match OEM shapes and functions, they blend in well with the rest of the dash while still giving the interior a refreshed appearance.

What should I do if my old knob is stripped, cracked, or the finish is worn but still functional?

Even if a knob still works mechanically, cracked plastic or worn chrome can make it harder to grip and less pleasant to look at over time. Replacing it early with a new dash knob helps avoid a knob breaking off completely later, which can make it difficult to operate that control until a replacement is installed.
