International 9300/9370 Cab Lights

Frequently Asked Questions About International 9300/9370 Cab Lights

Will these cab lights fit both the 9300 and 9370 models?

Most cab lights in this category are designed to fit the mounting points and cab profile shared by the International 9300 and 9370 models. However, small variations in cab configuration or model year can affect fitment, so it's a good idea to check the product description and confirm your truck's specific year and trim before ordering.

Are these lights DOT compliant for on-road use?

Many cab lights, particularly marker and clearance lights, are manufactured to meet DOT and FMVSS 108 standards, but not every product is intended for legal roadway use. Always check the individual product listing for DOT certification markings or compliance statements before installing lights that will be used on public roads.

What's the difference between the light housing and the lens, and can I replace just one?

The housing is the base unit that mounts to the cab and holds the wiring and bulb or LED, while the lens is the colored or clear cover that snaps or screws onto the housing. Many cab lights are sold as complete assemblies, but some manufacturers offer replacement lenses separately if you only need to swap out a cracked or faded cover.

How difficult is it to install cab lights on my own?

Installation difficulty depends on whether you're replacing an existing light in the same location or adding new lights that require drilling and running wire. Direct replacements are usually straightforward and involve unbolting the old unit, connecting the wiring harness, and securing the new light in place. Adding lights to a bare cab or rewiring a full light bar setup is more involved and may require basic electrical knowledge or professional installation.

Do these lights come with the wiring harness and bulbs included?

This varies by product, so it's important to read the listing carefully. Some cab lights include a wiring harness and bulbs or LEDs ready to install, while others are sold as the housing and lens only, requiring you to supply your own bulbs, sockets, or harness. If you're unsure, our product descriptions and specifications will note what's included in the box.
