Freightliner Columbia 112/120 Floor Covers & Mats

Frequently Asked Questions About Freightliner Columbia 112/120 Floor Covers & Mats

Will these floor mats fit my Freightliner Columbia 112 or 120 correctly?

These floor covers are designed to match the factory floorboard layout of the Freightliner Columbia 112 and 120 models, including the contours around the pedals, doghouse, and door sills. Because floor configurations can vary slightly by production year and cab setup, it's a good idea to check the listed fitment details or measurements on each product page before ordering to confirm it matches your specific truck.

What material are these floor covers made from, and how durable are they?

Most floor covers in this category are made from heavy-duty rubber or vinyl designed to handle daily wear, dirt, moisture, and temperature changes inside the cab. Rubber options tend to offer better durability and grip, while vinyl covers are typically lighter and easier to wipe clean. Product descriptions will specify the exact material so you can choose based on how the truck is used.

Are these floor mats easy to install, or do they require professional installation?

Floor covers for the Columbia 112/120 are generally a direct drop-in fit that lay over or snap into the existing floorboard, so no special tools or professional installation are needed in most cases. Some full-coverage or molded designs may require trimming around obstacles like the shifter base or seat mounts, so it helps to test fit the mat before permanent placement.

Can I clean these floor covers easily, and how should I maintain them?

Rubber and vinyl floor covers are made to be low-maintenance. Most can be swept out, hosed off, or wiped down with soap and water, and removed entirely for a deeper cleaning. Regular cleaning not only keeps the cab looking good but also helps prevent trapped moisture or debris from causing odors or premature wear.

Do these floor covers help protect the original cab floor or flooring material?

Yes, one of the main purposes of these floor covers is to protect the truck's original flooring from mud, spills, salt, and general wear that build up during daily driving. Adding a durable cover can help maintain the resale value of the cab floor by shielding it from stains and damage over time.
