Freightliner Century 112/120 Mirrors & Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About Freightliner Century 112/120 Mirrors & Acc.

What types of mirrors and accessories are available for the Freightliner Century 112/120?

This category includes hood mirrors, door mirrors, mirror heads, mirror arms and brackets, mirror motors and heaters, mirror covers, convex and West Coast style mirrors, and related hardware such as mounting brackets and gaskets designed for the Century 112 and 120 series trucks.

Will these mirrors and mounting components fit both the 112 and 120 models?

Many mirror components are shared across the Century 112 and 120 platforms since they use similar cab and hood configurations, but arm lengths, bracket styles, and mounting points can vary by year and trim. Always check the listed specifications or compare against your existing part before ordering to confirm a proper fit.

Are heated and remote-adjustable mirror options available?

Yes, heated mirror heads and motorized remote-control mirror assemblies are available for the Century 112/120. If you are replacing an existing heated or motorized mirror, make sure the wiring connectors and pin configuration match your truck's original setup before installing.

What is the difference between a mirror head and a full mirror assembly?

A mirror head is just the glass and housing that attaches to the existing arm or bracket, while a full mirror assembly includes the arm, mounting hardware, and sometimes the motor or heater. If your arm or bracket is bent, cracked, or corroded, you will likely need a full assembly rather than just a replacement head.

How do I install a replacement mirror or bracket on my Century 112/120?

Most mirror arms and brackets bolt directly to factory mounting points on the hood or door, and mirror heads typically snap or bolt into the arm. For heated or powered mirrors, you will also need to reconnect the factory wiring harness. Basic hand tools are usually sufficient, but if your setup includes wiring or requires drilling, we recommend having a qualified technician handle the installation to avoid damaging connectors or the paint finish.
