International S2200-S2600 Elbows, Piping & Comp.

Frequently Asked Questions About International S2200-S2600 Elbows, Piping & Comp.

What is included in this category?

This category covers exhaust and intake related elbows, piping sections, and related components designed for International S2200 and S2600 model trucks. This includes items such as exhaust elbows, turbo-to-manifold piping, charge air piping, and other connecting tube components used in the engine and exhaust system.

Will these parts fit my specific International S2200 or S2600 truck?

Fitment can vary depending on engine configuration, model year, and the specific setup on your truck, since these models were built with different engine options over their production run. Always check the listed specifications, measurements, and any part number cross-references on each product page, and compare them to your original component before ordering.

What materials are these elbows and piping made from?

Most elbows and piping in this category are constructed from steel or aluminized steel, which is common for exhaust and intake components due to its ability to handle heat and resist corrosion. Some piping sections may also be aluminum, particularly for charge air or intake applications. Check the individual product listing for the specific material used on each item.

Are these parts new, used, or reconditioned?

This category may include a mix of new aftermarket parts and quality used take-off parts, depending on the specific item. Each product listing will indicate the condition of the part so you know exactly what you are purchasing before you buy.

What should I check before installing a replacement elbow or piping section?

Before installation, inspect the mating surfaces, clamps, gaskets, and mounting hardware on your truck to make sure they are in good condition, since a worn clamp or gasket can cause leaks even with a good replacement part. It is also a good idea to compare the new part directly against the old one for length, diameter, and bend angle to confirm it matches before you begin installation.
