International 9900/i/ix Gauges & Switches

Frequently Asked Questions About International 9900/i/ix Gauges & Switches

Will these gauges and switches fit my International 9900, 9900i, or 9900ix?

Products in this category are designed to match the dash and instrument panel layout used on the International 9900, 9900i, and 9900ix models. Because dash configurations can vary slightly by production year and trim, we recommend comparing your existing gauge or switch dimensions, connector type, and mounting style to the product listing before ordering to confirm a proper fit.

Are these OEM parts or aftermarket replacements?

We carry a mix of OEM and quality aftermarket gauges and switches for the 9900 series. Each product listing specifies whether the part is OEM or aftermarket, along with any relevant part numbers, so you can choose the option that best fits your needs and budget.

How do I know if my current gauge or switch is failing and needs replacement?

Common signs include inaccurate or erratic readings, a gauge needle that sticks or doesn't move, switches that fail to engage or feel loose, warning lights that stay on or never activate, and flickering backlighting. If you're noticing any of these issues, it's a good indicator that the gauge or switch should be inspected and likely replaced.

Is installation something I can do myself, or do I need a professional?

Many gauges and switches in this category are designed for straightforward panel-mount or plug-and-play installation, making them manageable for drivers or shop technicians comfortable with basic electrical work. However, because these components tie into your truck's electrical and warning systems, we recommend having a qualified technician handle the installation if you're unsure about wiring, calibration, or dash disassembly.

What finish and quality options are available for these gauges and switches?

Options vary by product and may include chrome-finished bezels, backlit or illuminated faces, and durable housings built to handle daily use in a working truck cab. Check each individual listing for details on finish, lighting color, and housing material so you can match the look and durability level you want for your dash.
