Frequently Asked Questions About Peterbilt 330/335/337 Dash Accessories

Will these dash accessories fit my specific Peterbilt 330, 335, or 337 model year?

Most dash accessories for Peterbilt 330, 335, and 337 models are designed to fit trucks manufactured from 2005 to 2015. However, there were minor dashboard updates in 2008 and 2011 that may affect fitment of certain items like gauge bezels and switch panels. Always check the product description for specific year ranges, and when in doubt, contact us with your OEM number so we can verify compatibility before ordering.

Are these dash accessories made from OEM-quality materials or cheaper aftermarket plastics?

Our dash accessories range from economy to premium quality. Premium options use ABS plastic with UV inhibitors that match OEM specifications, while economy options use standard injection-molded plastic. Chrome accessories feature either triple-chrome plating on ABS plastic or polished stainless steel. Product descriptions clearly indicate material type - look for terms like "OEM-grade ABS" or "304 stainless steel" for the highest quality options.

Do I need special tools or professional installation for dash accessories?

Most dash accessories like gauge covers, switch plates, and trim pieces install with basic hand tools - typically just Phillips and flathead screwdrivers. Dash panels may require removing 6-12 screws and disconnecting wiring harnesses, which takes 30-60 minutes. More complex items like complete dash kits or custom gauge installations may require cutting or drilling and should be installed by someone with experience. Each product includes installation difficulty ratings and required tools in the description.

What finish options are available, and which ones hold up best in direct sunlight?

Common finishes include chrome (polished or brushed), black plastic, woodgrain, and carbon fiber look. For maximum durability in direct sunlight, choose chrome-plated stainless steel or UV-resistant black ABS plastic. Woodgrain and carbon fiber vinyl wraps can fade or peel after 2-3 years of sun exposure. Chrome plastic may show pitting over time but generally lasts 5+ years. Powder-coated items offer the best long-term appearance in harsh conditions.

Can I return or exchange dash accessories if they don't match my interior?

Dash accessories can be returned within 30 days if unopened and in original packaging. Due to the specific nature of these parts, we recommend ordering color samples or checking our showroom models before purchasing complete sets. Custom-cut or modified items cannot be returned. If you receive a defective item or wrong part, we'll exchange it at no cost. Take photos of your current dash before ordering to ensure color and style matching.
