Kenworth T680 Gauges & Switches

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth T680 Gauges & Switches

Will these gauges and switches fit my Kenworth T680 without modification?

Most gauges and switches in this category are designed to match the factory dash layout and wiring configuration used in the Kenworth T680, but fitment can vary depending on your truck's model year and dash trim package. Always check the product listing for specific year ranges and compare part numbers with your existing components before ordering to ensure a proper fit.

Are these replacement parts OEM or aftermarket?

This category includes a mix of OEM and quality aftermarket options. OEM parts are built to match the original factory specifications for gauges and switches, while aftermarket alternatives can offer similar function and appearance, often at a different price point. Product descriptions will indicate whether an item is OEM or aftermarket so you can choose based on your preference and budget.

Do I need any special tools or wiring knowledge to install a new gauge or switch?

Basic hand tools such as screwdrivers and trim panel removal tools are typically sufficient for most installations. Some gauges and switches involve connecting to existing wiring harnesses, so a basic understanding of electrical connections is helpful. If a component involves complex wiring or integration with the truck's electrical system, we recommend having it installed by a qualified technician.

How do I know which switch or gauge matches the one currently in my truck?

The best way to confirm a match is to compare the part number on your existing gauge or switch with the part number listed on our site. If the part number is worn or unavailable, providing your truck's VIN or model year when contacting us can help identify the correct replacement.

What should I do if a new gauge or switch isn't working correctly after installation?

First, double check that all wiring connections are secure and properly matched to the original harness. Loose or reversed connections are a common cause of gauges reading incorrectly or switches not functioning. If the issue persists after confirming the installation, reach out to our support team so we can help troubleshoot or process a warranty claim if applicable.
