International S2200-S2600 Floor Covers & Mats

Frequently Asked Questions About International S2200-S2600 Floor Covers & Mats

Will these floor covers and mats fit my International S2200-S2600 without modification?

These floor covers and mats are designed to match the factory floorboard layout of the International S2200-S2600 series, so they should fit without cutting or trimming. That said, because these trucks were produced over several years with some interior variations, it's a good idea to check the listed year range and cab configuration on each product page before ordering to confirm it matches your specific truck.

What materials are these floor covers and mats made from?

Floor covers and mats in this category are typically made from rubber or heavy-duty vinyl material designed to hold up under repeated foot traffic, dirt, moisture, and temperature swings inside the cab. Rubber options tend to offer more durability and grip, while vinyl covers are often chosen for a cleaner, factory-style appearance.

Are these mats easy to install myself?

Yes, most floor covers and mats in this category are designed as direct-fit replacements that lay into place over the existing floorboard, so no special tools or professional installation are required. Some covers may use existing mounting points or factory fasteners to keep them secure, and any specific installation notes will be included with the product.

How do I clean and maintain these floor covers or mats?

Rubber and vinyl floor covers can generally be cleaned with soap, water, and a stiff brush or hose to remove built-up dirt and debris. Removing the mat periodically to clean underneath it helps prevent moisture and grime from being trapped against the cab floor, which can extend the life of both the mat and the floorboard beneath it.

Do these floor covers help protect the cab floor from wear and moisture?

Yes, one of the main purposes of these floor covers is to protect the original cab floor from mud, water, road salt, and general wear that build up over daily use. Using a durable cover can help prevent corrosion or damage to the floorboard underneath, which is especially useful for trucks that see heavy use in rough weather conditions.
